XII PHARMACY JOURNEY (JOFAR) OF THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF CEARÁ

The search for improvements in the quality of life has always been and will continue to be inherent to humanity. This demand has been driving the emergence of new areas and research themes and instigating innovation. The pharmaceutical profession is no different. The professional, who in the beginning was limited to “apothecaries”, in which the apothecary was restricted to producing medicines, today finds many fields and fronts of activity.

The XII PHARMACY JOURNEY (JOFAR) OF THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF CEARÁ was held between the 10th and 12th of May 2023. The event aimed to present to participants the diversity of areas of activity and topics related to health in which the pharmacist is involved. inserted. The Thematic Axes chosen were: Clinical and Toxicological Analysis, Pharmaceutical Assistance, Clinical and Hospital Pharmacy, Pharmacology and Public Health and/or Integrative and Complementary Practices
We congratulate everyone who engaged and believed in this journey. Congratulations to all the authors of the works presented, who had the opportunity to publish them in the Brazilian Journal of Health and Pharmacy (BJHP).

This is the summary book of the XII Jornada da Farmácia at the Federal University of Ceará, published by the Brazilian Journal of Health and Pharmacy with the hope of increasingly contributing to the dissemination of knowledge to students and professionals in the health field.
